PTFE (polytetrafluoroethene) plastic, also known by the brand name Teflon®, is an ethylene polymer in which the hydrogen molecules have been replaced by Fluorine molecules.

PTFE Teflon® sheet of a virgin quality, is mainly used for applications with high demands. These include: high temperatures, low friction coefficient and high chemical resistance. The PTFE properties make the material very suitable for these purposes. PTFE is non-flammable (flame retardant), is UV-resistant, does not age and can be used in temperatures from -190 degrees to +260 degrees Celsius. For a short time PTFE (Teflon®) even handled temperatures of 300°C.

Operations such as sawing, gluing and milling are also possible. Minimum length/width is 24 mm.
